POLYNUCLEOTIDE TREATMENTS

Polynucleotides are biostimulating injectable treatments made from purified DNA fragments (usually derived from salmon or trout DNA) that work to repair, regenerate, and strengthen the skin.

They improve skin quality by stimulating fibroblasts to produce more collagen, elastin, and the skin’s own hyaluronic acid. They also attract and bind water, helping with long-lasting hydration, and have strong anti-inflammatory and healing properties, which makes them especially useful for sensitive, damaged, or ageing skin.

They can be used anywhere on the body for a variety of skin concerns. They are popular for delicate areas such as the under-eyes, neck, décolletage, and hands, where traditional fillers may be too heavy.

The procedure itself is quick, approximately 30 minutes.

Polynucleotide treatments are generally well-tolerated, but like any injectable procedure, they can have some side effects, most of which are mild and temporary.

-Tenderness or slight discomfort for a day or two

-Tiny bumps or raised areas that usually settle within a few days
